1. The Qingshui Sea Cliffs

The Qingshui Cliffs can be found in Xiulin, Hualien County, Taiwan.

Qingshui Cliff is a 21-kilometer length of coastal cliffs averaging 800 meters above sea level.

The Qingshui Cliff is the highest coastal cliff in Taiwan.

It is located within Taroko National Park, directly from the Pacific Ocean.

2. Dingli Sea Cliffs

Another stunning sea cliff is the Dingli sea cliff located in Malta.

The Dingli cliff is the highest point in the Maltese islands, which is over 250 meters above sea level.

The cliff is best viewed when on a boat and they are particularly attractive when it is sunset.

Hornelen is a mountain in Bremanger Municipality in Vestland county, Norway.

The mountain sits on the eastern end of the island of Bremangerlandet, along the Frøysjøen strait, in the Nordfjord region of Norway.

The Hornelen cliff is at a height of 860 meters (2,820 feet) high, making it the highest sea cliff in Europe.

4. Slieve League

This sea cliff is found in Ireland on the Atlantic coast of County Donegal.

At 596 meters, Sliabh Liag, sometimes Slieve League or Slieve Liag, has some of the highest sea cliffs on the island of Ireland.

Although less famous than the Cliffs of Moher in County Clare, Slieve League’s cliffs reach almost three times higher.

5. Etretat

Étretat is a town on the north coast of France.

The town is known for the striking rock formations carved out of its white cliffs, including the Porte d’Aval arch and L’Aiguille (the Needle), a pillar rising up from the sea.

The spectacular sea cliffs and the associated resort beach attracted famous artists including Gustave Courbet and Claude Monet.

8. Mitre Peak

Found in New Zealand, Mitre Peak is one of the sea cliffs that appeals to tourists.

Mitre Peak is the most prominent peak from Milford Sound, making it a New Zealand tourism icon.

It rises to 5,560 feet (1,690 m) making it difficult to climb unless you have some good level of fitness.
