Man-made architecture designs have been in existence for many years. Some of these structures have stood the test of time surviving several harsh climatic conditions.
These things were made since the first day that our predecessors entered a cave to hide from the storm.
It would be prudent to say that our predecessors assembled the absolute most noteworthy constructions of their period and an extraordinary number of those structures are still in existence.
Let’s have a look at some of these structures in this article.
1. Luxor Temple, Egypt made in 1400 BC
This is one of the most conspicuous Egyptian temples. It is situated on the east bank of the River Nile and currently, it serves as a beginning and finishing point for a large portion of the tourists visiting the old city of Thebes.
2. The Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt made in 2560 BC
This design marvel of an antiquated progress has been an object of discussion for about 4000 years. It is still a mystery how it was made with many people claiming it was built by aliens.
3. Parthenon, Athens, Greece made in 447 BC
The Ancient Greeks have a style of their own. The Parthenon in Athens was assembled, or fairly finished, in 432 BC to love the goddess Athena (duh). These days, Parthenon is perhaps the most renowned landmarks of Ancient Greece.
4. Pantheon, Rome, Italy – 113-125 AD
The Roman Pantheon was built by the Romans, as a spot to worship their Greek divine beings. About 400 years after it was built, the early Christians took over and made a church out of it.
5. The Great Wall of China
Some authentic sources guarantee that the development of this ginormous wall started right back in 600 BC, however, most of the current was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). This man-made wall is more than 21,000 km long and it is one of the most noteworthy engineering accomplishments.
6. Borobudur, Indonesia made in 825 AD
This is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Indonesia. This is actually a Buddhist temple with more than 5000 stunning sculptures. It is also the biggest on the planet and the amazing thing is that this gigantic temple was once covered under huge loads of volcanic debris, until it was found and reestablished step by step in the mid 1800s.
