5 Places In The World That Will Soothe Your Soul

There exist some places on this earth that can provide you that ambiance to soothe your soul and give you answers to some of the mysterious questions that subtly hit your subconscious mind.

Knowing very well that people go through mindfulness meditation in order to train the mind and slow down racing thoughts, let go of negativity, and calm both the mind and body- some places like the ones we are going to talk about in this article effectively help to achieve that.

Let’s take a look at these places and how you can add them up to your list when making your future trip.
1. Wulong County, Chongqing, China
It’s hard not to find inner peace and reconcile with mother nature when you find yourself in this place. This beautiful and greeny landscape consists of gorges, natural bridges, caves, eroded dolines, shafts, and underground streams. These karst landforms developed in the carbonate rocks, vividly recording the development and evolution of karst terrain in the Three Gorges area since Pleistocene Era.
2. Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands is one of the indispensable places if you want to move the tangent of our theme in this article. It soothes your soul and gives you a mental rest devoid of any distraction whatsoever. There’s no better place than Faroe Island if you are searching for inner serenity.
3. Spitsbergen, Norway

Svalbard, previously called Spitsbergen is a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. Located on top of the world, it contains endless areas of unspoilt, raw Arctic wilderness. Svalbard consists of all the islands, islets, and skerries between 74° and 81° north latitude and 10° and 35° east longitude.

The largest island is Spitsbergen, while the highest mountain is Newtontoppen (1,713 m above sea level). If you really love snow, then this is the place to be. There only a few people here thus you will give you the privacy you might want to ‘reconnect’ to nature all alone without any distraction.

4. Kotisaari Island, Finland

Kotisaari is an island on the river Kemijoki, near Rovaniemi, Finland. Starting in the late 1800s, the island was used as a traditional stronghold for lumberjacks. It’s entirely surrounded by water (as you’d expect from an island) and it only has very limited living accommodations. It a good place for self-meditation if you ask me.

5. Meteora, Greece

The beautiful rock formation in this city located in Greece and the fact there are barely any people around this place will give you the perfect chance to be on your own to achieve the sole purpose for which you came around.
